Would definitely recommend for a weekend respite
Comfortable room, friendly staff, with excellent air conditioning and a flat-screen TV and relaxing after a day exploring nearby attractions just 25 minutes away by train from central London.
Everything was fantastic.

Staff could use a smile!
It was a bit tricky to park since the layout is kinda awkward. The room was nice, but the restaurant service in the morning was not great. The lady there seemed annoyed before I even said anything! they dropped the ball on room cleaning on the second day. The young guy at the front desk, though? He was awesome. The breakfast was pretty good too.

the hotel is really nice and clean, i liked the comfy bed and the strong shower in the bathroom, breakfast was super tasty and helped me start my day off right, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was chill and cozy.
but the walls were a bit thin, i could hear the noise from the next room which woke me up in the morning. also, the check-in took longer than expected.

I truly appreciated the hotel’s bright atrium, which felt so welcoming! The decor was modern, and I found the accessible entrance easy to navigate. It made my stay so much more comfortable and enjoyable.
More assistance with luggage for seniors would help.

It was a perfect match for a city trip in Stevenage with reasonable value. The kettle needed a good clean before use, though. Ensure you check what’s included in the room before settling in.

Recommend it for dog lovers out there
The staff were really friendly and went above and beyond when we realized that our room needed a fridge for the dog's food. the dog walking area right across the street was a fantastic surprise, we didn’t expect to find such a large space so close.
It wasn’t cheap, but still acceptable for what we got.

missingWrote a review on 12 Augspacious roomhelpful staffgood breakfastair conditioningoutside cleaning
The Novotel in Stevenage delivered a pleasant stay. The room was bright, clean, and spacious with a comfy bed. The shower had great pressure and there was a nice fridge. Staff were attentive and friendly, always eager to help. Breakfast offered a decent selection, with expertly cooked omelettes. the air conditioning underperformed, switching off frequently at night, disrupting sleep. Outside cleanliness could improve, with litter left unattended for days. The garden was a bonus for quick walks, yet the area opposite with a massive dog-walking field seemed underutilized by guests.

An ideal base for exploring Stevenage with small kids. The breakfast staff were particularly friendly and the hot food was fantastic, providing a great start to our day of adventures.
In my wife’s opinion, a first aid kit for splinters would be great.
